Weird thing is that I use to be able to upload pics just fine when I was running the older OS software.
I checked all my security settings and everything. I should be ok?? Help _________________ 2001 Black on Tan HMCS

Please note that there is a place for forum-related questions. It's not the H1 forum.
This is covered in the Help section:
http://www.hummernetworkforums.....p?t=232006
It should work with IOS 7 and above. It not, you may need to seek iPhone assistance.
What happens when you attempt to upload attachments? Is the option grayed out? Can you provide more information to go on? |

I'm in the same boat. Had no problems in the past but how I have to email them to my computer and convert them to JPEG before I can upload from my lap top. _________________ 1997 HMC4

I just tried it with my iPad using IOS 7.0.4. I could choose a photo to upload, but when I hit the "add attachment" button, the keyboard wants to pop up. Same when I hit the "Preview" button. Neither button will work.
Is this what is happening to others?
Something must have changed with the most recent update of the OS. It did work OK before. Someone should check with Apple support. This is not a forum issue. |

I've posted the question on the Apple support board. If/when I receive a response, I'll post it here.
A little Googling turns up lots and lots of bugs with IOS 7.0.4. It looks like IOS 7.1 is in beta right now. _________________ Serving the Hummer community since 1996 |

When I hit CHOOSE FILE I get 3 options
Take Photo or Video
Choose Existing
Cancel
I hit CHOOSE EXISTING and it takes me to my photos. When I choose a photo it places the photo into the attachment file name line which says 1 photo.
Then I click add attachment, then the screen says :

This issue may or may not be resolved with the next version of IOS. It's only occurred since IOS 7.0.4 came out. In the meantime, while a solution is being sought, you'll have to e-mail photos to yourself and upload them using a computer.
I found one way around it. There are apps available which turn your iPhone/iPad into a remote control for your computer. I have a free one called TeamViewer. I can take a photo with my iPad, e-mail it to myself, link the iPad to my computer and use that to upload the photo to the forum. That way, you can do it even if you're away from your computer at the time. _________________ Serving the Hummer community since 1996 |

It appears something changed in the way IOS 7.0.4 uploads files which is incompatible with this particular forum software. I have some feelers out to some experts to see if there's a way to compensate on this end.
In the meantime, I will offer a free photo uploading service. If you have a photo taken with an iPhone or iPad which you want to add to a forum post, e-mail it to:
HummerNetwork@gmail.com
and I will personally upload the photo(s) to your post. You should be the author of the post, not me, so post it yourself and send me the photo(s). I can add the photo(s) to the post after the fact. I'll even adjust the photo orientation if necessary.
I will post this offer on the H1 forum shortly. Hopefully this will only be a temporary workaround. _________________ Serving the Hummer community since 1996 |
