Looking through the HML for some info on BODY REMOVAL and ended up in the policies section. So i have a question and perhaps an apology.

When i post stuff and i do usually every day often i end up editing the post numerous times for typo's and so forth. Its not unusual for me to edit 2-3 times before i get it right. So one question would be does each of these edits blast out another email to the list and if so how many cases of beer should i buy???

The only message that goes out is the one which happens on the initial submit .. if you edit after that only the forum is updated.

No, it's the opposite. Your original post goes out to the mailing list just once, and the corrections you make (however many) only get seen by the forum users.

(I have to admit I often do the same. Embarassed )

So many people overlook the fact that there is a Help section on this forum. There's also a Forum-Related Questions forum for things like this. That's where this is now.

There is info in the Help section at:

http://www.hummernetworkforums.....p?p=363119

http://www.hummernetworkforums.....p?t=210325

http://www.hummernetworkforums.....p?t=209285

I've even added "tips" to the message composition area about previewing posts first.

I use both the forum and the mailing list...

May I suggest that you "Preview" your post and proof read it before you "Submit" it. I always do this if the post is more than a couple sentences.

If you make a significant edit, please post a small note in the topic so that those of us using the mailing list are aware of the change.
