If you have a dispute with another user, you should take steps to resolve it. Please do not take it "public" here. Disputes between two people should not involve thousands of others.

If you feel you have been treated dishonestly or unfairly in a transaction, and feel you should warn other Hummer owners about a dishonest or less than reputable individual, please be absolutely certain this is actually the case. Every possible attempt should be made to resolve the situation FIRST. Making public allegations of dishonesty is very serious. Do not do so lightly or as a means of resolving your differences. The Hummer Network Forums should not be used to put leverage on an individual in order to resolve a dispute.

Taking disputes "public" on this forum is NOT RECOMMENDED. It can make matters much worse or even turn very ugly. It has happened numerous times.

Also, do not take personal disputes to the forum/list ownership or administration for resolution. The forum/list administration does not mediate or adjudicate disputes. This includes disputes between customers/individuals and companies/businesses. The Hummer Network will not become involved in any such dispute(s) in any way.

If you are offended by something that's been posted, it is suggested that you contact the person who posted it, express your concerns, and ask the poster to edit or delete the post in question.

In a group as large as this one, there will inevitably be personality conflicts. If another user simply rubs you the wrong way, please don't involve the thousands of other users in it. Get over it instead of perpetuating it. All kinds of personality types are represented here. Grant others the right to be who they are, just as you would want them to do the same.
