Hey Folks,

since a while I don't see pics in the forums any more if they were uploaded with the "attachment" feature. Normally I use chrome, but I also tried firefox now. No difference. If the pics are in the message I can see them, but not when uploaded as an attachment.

Does anyone have an idea what's wrong?

Thanks in advance

If this page of this thread in the culprit:

http://www.hummernetworkforums.....654#712654

it's because someone embedded a HUGE photo which throws everything sideways on that page of the thread. If this is what you mean, scroll horizontally.

This should not be done and it's covered in the Help section at:

http://www.hummernetworkforums.....p?t=209849

Other pages of the forum should be OK.

Oh man Rolling Eyes Yeah, that was exactly the problem. First I thought it's my new monitor because of the resolution horizontally, but you are right, the issue is that huge pic on top of the site.

Thanks a lot!

Someone brilliantly came up with a permanent fix for this! I didn't think it was possible to do anything about photos which are hosted on outside web sites, but I guess I was wrong.

This will not happen again.

The article in the Help section about embedding photos has been revised.

Many thanks for posting the question here. The right person saw this thread.

That's great news. I must say I really love that "old school" style of this board and it is great to read that you are always looking to keep the code up to date!

I bet it would be a really great feature if you would get a connection with tapatalk. It seems that at least 50% of the board visits in this time is with a mobile device and for those using tapatalk an integration would be perfect. I am not sure if this board software supports tapatalk, but keep an eye on it!

Thanks for your great work, so our trucks keep running!

We looked into Tapatalk some time ago. It is not compatible.

After more than 22 years, very few stones are left unturned.

This was a highly unusual case because it was thought not to be technically possible to do anything about images that exist on outside web sites, so never looked into it. Fortunately, someone else saw things differently in this case.
