Just a quick question. When I edit an existing post, does it get resent to all HML users or not? (I hope not as most of my edits are spelling fixes or re-wording)
Doesn't matter either way but figured if they were reposted I'd just down on any edits unless they were absolutely needed. _________________ WWW.ICENTROPY.COM

No, edited versions do not go out over the mailing list. There is an option for that and it was tried once a long time ago, but it got very, very repetitious. As you say, most edits are very minor changes.
It's highly recommended that one use Preview mode to tweak posts instead of Edit mode. That way, corrections can be made before the post is submitted and goes out over the mailing list. |
